Naviganta Technology Group advises clients on data governance, so we hold ourselves to a plain, direct standard for our own website: collect only what's needed, explain why, and never sell it.
Effective date: September 13, 2026
This policy applies to naviganta.com and naviganta.ca (together, "the site"), operated by Naviganta Technology Group ("Naviganta," "we," "us"). It describes what information we collect when you use the site, why we collect it, and how it's handled. It does not cover information we collect separately in the course of an active client engagement, which is instead governed by the terms of that engagement.
The site collects information directly from you, only when you choose to provide it, through two forms:
We do not use tracking cookies or analytics software on this site, and we do not passively collect browsing data beyond what our hosting provider logs automatically for security and reliability purposes (see "Hosting and processors" below).
We use the information you submit only to:
We do not use form submissions for marketing lists, newsletters, or any automated outreach, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
The site is hosted on Netlify, and both forms are processed through Netlify Forms, which handles submission, spam filtering, and email delivery on our behalf. Netlify acts as a data processor for this purpose and maintains its own security and privacy practices, available at netlify.com/privacy.
Form submissions are delivered by email to our advisory team. We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services on this site.
We retain information submitted through this site only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above — typically, for the duration of our conversation with you and a limited period afterward for our own records — or as required by law. You can request earlier deletion at any time; see "Your rights," below.
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and our hosting provider applies industry-standard safeguards on its infrastructure. No method of transmission or storage is entirely risk-free, but we don't ask you for anything beyond what's needed to have a conversation with us, which limits what's ever at stake.
You can ask us, at any time, to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Reach out using the contact details below and we'll respond promptly. If you're located in Canada, this site's practices are intended to align with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA); if you're located elsewhere, comparable rights under your local privacy law apply, and we'll honor requests made under it on the same basis.
This site is intended for business owners, executives, and professionals, and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
As our tools change — for instance, once dedicated email infrastructure or analytics are put in place — we'll update this page and the effective date above to reflect current practice.
